It's been a tough year and a half with all of us laying low to avoid infection from the Covid pandemic. And I have to say it was a bleaker winter than we would have liked - no where to go, no one to see, a boring stay-at-home time.
And so... we cooked and baked and ate (and drank!). I didn't actually make a soup or stew with this hubbard squash but I made other similar soups and the darkness of this set up seemed to echo the dark feelings that we worked to keep at bay with warming sups and stews.
