OK, so its not Five Little Pumpkins Sitting on a Gate... that could happen too I suppose. But clearly these are little white onions. And one fell off. 

'Nuff said.

But seriously, I just love the way these onions nearly fit in the rough pottery dish, and one just can't seem to hang in there. The light is on her and she's off on an adventure!

The shiny, but scuffed up lacquer painted bench just might be a metaphor for the reality of such adventures - shiny when they draw you in but scuffed up in the actual undertaking.
