These shells are quite small (less than 2") but they each have their similarities and differences - much like humanity. I like the idea of them hanging out together and enjoying a day in the sun where they can each shine! Subtle color differences were important to capture in this painting and when it was sone I had to go back and soften the backgrounds so that the subtlety could be seen. I hope you like it.
