Spring is the perfect time to think about painting flowers. For me it's a challenging transition from the non-organic still life objects that tend to be symmetrical with obvious structure to the form.

So this is my first flower in about 4 years. And I had fun! It's a great feeling to set a challenge for yourself, get past the anxious moments and enjoy the process... and then enjoy the result!

"Going Solo" is about relying on yourself to reach new goals.
