I was very fortunate to be offered a friend's incredible Nautilus shell as a painting prop - a fragile ocean gem! I always think of seashells and ocean inhabitants as the oldest creatures on the planet, so it felt very appropriate to pair it with an hour glass and paint them together. And then the Cindi Lauper song came to mind! I hope you agree that this couple signifies "Time After Time"!
