The subject of this painting is a sitting room in the Victorian House Museum in San Francisco. Of all the painted ladies this is the only one open to the public and it's a treasure!
But the true subject of this painting is the light streaming through the window.
I'm pleased to say this painting won second place at the Society of Creative Arts of Newtown. Quite an honor!
