These shells are quite small (less than 2") and each have their similarities and differences - much like humanity. I like the idea of them hanging out together and enjoying a day in the sun where each can shine! Subtle color differences were important to capture in this painting and when it was done I went back to soften the background so that the subtlety could be seen. I hope you like it.
