A pair of tiny toddler shoes from a bygone era. So sweet to imagine her chubby feet and she was probably dressed in a ridiculously fancy, pleated and smocked dress. But then imagine the life lived, the roads not taken, the limited options for women of the time. 

Times have changed. Not enough. So we persist for our daughters and all mankind.
